Long before [high cost] oil runs out, Solectric GENSTOR© will be well on its way to making a solid contribution to the 'Worldwide Energy Web' by helping to usher in the 'Next Great Economic Revolution'. The Solectric 'Vision' is that the Worldwide Energy Web will be implemented in a two step process:
1) As GENSTOR© [very low cost ($.50/watt) and high conversion efficiency with overnight energy storage] becomes installed on the larger commercial and industrial roof tops, they will stabilize the 'GRID' even in the hottest time of the year and in the warmest climates, as the [above] roof tops are located in the highest power density areas. These installations will then be complemented by GENSTOR© transportation and home power generation with built-in overnight energy storage.
2) These installations shall serve as the foundation of the worldwide energy web, which will then host the next phase of very broad scale fuel cell installation where the worldwide energy web generates and stores power for 24/7 consumption and the localized production of hydrogen to be employed as a combustion fuel and the energy source for all fuel cells. Thus enabling the highest form of democracy via completely decentralized power, creating the 'distributed generation'. In conclusion, every human being will become the producer as well as the consumer of his or her own energy.

 

Therefore, the creation of the Worldwide Energy Web will provide the elimination of tensions over the expansion of mining and refining oil, and to significantly reduce the need of oil, gas, coal and nuclear power generation. This is a 'convenient truth' that will stabilize the world economy and dramatically reduce the emission of 'greenhouse' gases.
